Reinforced Commitment: Visions supports industry conference "Meet Magento #3.10" not once, but twice
Hanover/Leipzig, May 2010. The third "Meet Magento #3.10", the most important industry conference in Germany for Magento, starts on May 31. The Hanover Magento agency Visions is dedicating itself again not only as main sponsor, but this time also as the sponsor of the after-show party. For the first time, the two day convention (May 31 and June 1) takes place at the Leipzig tech scene location "GaraGe".

Visions relaunches MDM
Hannover, 2 September 2009: E-commerce agency Visions has gained yet another famous client; the Magento specialists from Hannover are to relaunch Braunschweig’s MDM Münzhandelsgesellschaft mbH Deutsche Münze webshop, increasing turnover through sophisticated usability.The extensive project comprises complete relaunch of personal e-commerce applications, redesigned website and infrastructure concept. Detlev Bieser, Head of e-commerce at MDM, predicts significant improvements in navigation and usability for the customer with the shift to Magento, explaining: “We compared the various online shopping systems and, looking at the advantages of this development model, quickly settled on Open Sources, and the clear choice was Magento. The features of the Magento Enterprise Edition – good scalability, manufacturer support, flexibility and quarterly updates – convinced us right away. And if you want Magento you call Visions.”
Bieser also made enquiries with the e-commerce team at Globetrotter, whose Jack Wolfskin online shop switched to Visions in spring 2009. “They were very satisfied with its capabilities, so we too chose Magento, and Visions as an experienced e-commerce agency.”
Visions MD Alexander Ringsdorff also expects great things of the new project: “With Magento we can improve navigation through the coin shop to give customers a much better shopping experience – and this has a direct effect on turnover,” he said. “Using various functions on the basis of the new Magento Rich Merchandizing Suite, following the re-launch MDM can offer every visitor individualised customer services, from personalised website presentation through to a newsletter tailored to their interests.
