Reinforced Commitment: Visions supports industry conference "Meet Magento #3.10" not once, but twice
Hanover/Leipzig, May 2010. The third "Meet Magento #3.10", the most important industry conference in Germany for Magento, starts on May 31. The Hanover Magento agency Visions is dedicating itself again not only as main sponsor, but this time also as the sponsor of the after-show party. For the first time, the two day convention (May 31 and June 1) takes place at the Leipzig tech scene location "GaraGe".

Visions has a longstanding specialisation in individual e-commerce solutions. Initially, we thought that developing our platform was the best means to serve our clients – until we recognised the potential of Magento in the summer of 2007. We were immediately convinced by the potential of this versatile and highly extensible platform, and switched to exclusively providing Magento solutions for our clients since January 2008.
We are now the first Magento Enterprise Partner in Germany, further strengthening our relationship with Varien, the company backing Magento, and continuing to serve the needs of leading online merchants.
Varien recently enriched its product portfolio, now offering an Enterprise Edition at a commercial licence in addition to the Community Edition, which will always remain free of charge. The Enterprise Edition is built on the core of the Community Edition, and features of special interest to large stores – such as PA-DSS compliance and even more fine-grained access control – as well as indemnification and improved manageability over the Community Edition. As an Enterprise Partner, Visions integrates back-end systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions and Payment Service Providers (PSPs). Additionally, we optimise Magento deployments to scale well with large numbers of visitors on the clients' platform or our own high-performance Magento cluster.
During our past project experience, we successfully integrated Magento with SAP and Navision ERP systems. Our payment and risk management integration experience includes projects involving Computop, GlobalCollect and Payone. Jointly with Easynet and Colt Telecom, Visions has developed tailored infrastructure packages optimised for Magento. This enables our clients to deploy on an infrastructure that is fully managed by a Service Provider and at the same time has been designed by a specialist in the Magento application.
Further co-operations with service partners help us deliver outstanding time-to-market. For example, Visions clients can easily integrate their solutions with fulfilment, customer service and payment management by Hellman Logistics. This makes it possible to open up a new sales channel without committing internal resources.
